C&P Alumni Scholarship at the University of Melbourne 2026

The C&P Alumni Scholarship was established through a gift from Christopher Murphy and Penelope Morrow to support domestic students enrolling in undergraduate studies who are experiencing disadvantaged circumstances. Preference is given to students from financially disadvantaged backgrounds. No separate application is required—eligibility is assessed automatically through the VTAC Equity Schemes (formerly SEAS).

Eligibility Criteria for C&P Alumni Scholarship at the University of Melbourne 2026

To be considered for this scholarship, you must:

  1. Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or a holder of an Australian permanent visa
  2. Have completed Year 12 or the International Baccalaureate in Australia
  3. Not have completed subjects undertaken as part of a tertiary course (excludes extension program subjects)
  4. Have applied for a University of Melbourne undergraduate degree and submitted a VTAC Equity Schemes and scholarships application (formerly SEAS) under the category: Personal Information and Location and other categories (if applicable) for commencement in the year following completion of Year 12 or International Baccalaureate
  5. Meet the Access Melbourne entry requirements for the University of Melbourne course nominated in your VTAC application

Selection criteria

This scholarship is awarded to eligible students who have the highest overall level of disadvantage based on the information provided in their VTAC Equity Schemes and scholarships application (formerly SEAS). Preference is given to Indigenous students.


Benefits of C&P Alumni Scholarship at the University of Melbourne 2026

This scholarship provides a living allowance of $6500 per year for four years, paid in half-yearly installments of $3250. The living allowance will be extended by one year if students enrol in the Diploma of General Studies, a concurrent diploma, a bachelor's extended degree, or a bachelor's degree with honors.
