Africa Check and Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung invite African journalists and media professionals with an interest in fact-checking to apply for the Africa Check Fellowship Programme 2025.

This 12-day intensive training will take place in November 2025 at Africa Check’s regional office in Nairobi, Kenya, and will be conducted entirely in English. The programme aims to equip participants with professional tools to combat misinformation and strengthen evidence-based reporting in Africa.

Applicants must:

Be based in Africa
Be a journalist or media professional (full-time or freelance)
Have an interest or experience in fact-checking, investigative journalism, or ethical reporting
Be proficient in English
Be available for the full 12-day programme in Nairobi
