The Beit Trust Postgraduate Scholarship provides fully funded opportunities for outstanding graduates from Zambia, Zimbabwe, and Malawi to pursue Masters study at leading partner universities in the United Kingdom and South Africa. The scholarship supports tuition, living costs, visa and health fees, travel, and additional allowances. Established in 1906 by Alfred Beit, the Trust continues to invest in education, leadership, and regional development by supporting scholars who are committed to returning and contributing to their home countries after study.

Eligibility Criteria for Beit Trust Postgraduate Fully Funded Scholarships 2026

  1. Nationals and permanent residents of Zambia, Zimbabwe, or Malawi
  2. Commitment to return home after studies
  3. Undergraduate degree with Distinction or Merit (Upper Second Class preferred)
  4. At least 3 years of relevant professional experience recommended
  5. Leadership potential and community contribution
  6. Must apply to Beit Trust partner universities
  7. Medical/veterinary applicants: internship (18 months) + 1 year in-country posting

  2. Apply to one or more partner universities in the UK or South Africa.
  3. Upload all documents (CV, transcripts, degree certificates, personal statement, passport, photo, references).
  4. For UK: Apply directly via university sites; indicate Beit funding.
  5. For South Africa: Submit list of intended universities/courses + SAQA certificate.
  6. Submit the application before the deadline.
