The Public Service Alliance of Canada (PSAC) 2025 Scholarship Program offers 24 scholarships to support both PSAC members and their dependent children pursuing post-secondary education. These awards recognize academic ambition and creative engagement with social issues, with application options including essays, videos, songs, or infographics. With scholarships available for full-time and part-time students, as well as those who self-identify as part of equity-seeking groups, the program emphasizes inclusion, solidarity, and proactive union values.

Eligibility Criteria for PSAC’s 2025 Scholarship Program
- Must be a PSAC member in good standing as of March 31, 2025, or a dependent child of a PSAC member in good standing.
- Dependent children must be planning to attend full-time studies at a recognized post-secondary institution in fall 2025.
- PSAC members themselves may apply if they will be:
- Registered in full-time studies, or
- Registered in part-time studies at a recognized post-secondary institution in fall 2025.
- Five scholarships are specifically for members or dependents who self-identify as any of the following:
- Woman
- Indigenous
- Person with a disability
- Racially visible
- 2SLGBTQIA+
- Applicants must submit an original creative work (essay, YouTube video, infographic, song, etc.) addressing this year’s scholarship question.
- All submissions must be original, under five minutes in length (if applicable), and must cite sources to avoid plagiarism.
- Application deadline: June 23, 2025, at 11:55 p.m. ET.
