About Health Equity Accelerator Leadership (HEAL)

The Health Equity Accelerator Leadership (HEAL) Fellowship is a program dedicated to strengthening public health leadership in Africa. Organized by the Strategic Purchasing Africa Resource Center (SPARC) under the Strategic Health Purchasing in Africa initiative, HEAL equips emerging leaders with the skills, resources, and networks necessary to address health inequities and advance universal health coverage. Through a combination of intensive training, mentorship, and collaborative projects, fellows are empowered to design and implement transformative health system solutions. HEAL’s mission is to build a sustainable pipeline of leaders who can shape inclusive, equitable, and resilient health systems across the continent.
