The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) is the world’s central intergovernmental forum for scientific and technical cooperation in the nuclear field. Established in 1957, the IAEA promotes the safe, secure, and peaceful use of nuclear technologies. Through various fellowship programs, technical cooperation initiatives, and training opportunities, the IAEA supports capacity building and knowledge transfer in areas such as nuclear safety, medical applications, environmental protection, food security, and sustainable energy.
