Eligibility Criteria for University of Queensland English Language Scholarship 2025

You're eligible if you:

1. need to improve your language skills and you don’t have an IELTS below 5.0 in any of your bands;
2. at the time of application for the Scholarship, have applied for a Program with the University;
3. are an international student in accordance with the University’s Fee Policy; and
4. are a student from the following cohort, to align with the purpose of the scholarship –
5. (a) UQ Refugee and Humanitarian Scholarship
6. (b) UQ Asha Scholarship recipient (India equity)
7. (c) Latin American sponsorship bodies with a UQ agreement
