Eligibility Criteria for Women in Leadership Scholarship at University College Birmingham 2026

To apply for this scholarship, you must fulfill the following criteria:

1. You must be a female student and have received an offer to study on a full-time postgraduate programme at University College Birmingham. Part-time courses, distance learning courses or other levels of study are not eligible.
2. You must have overseas fee status and be paying overseas tuition fees. Home fee payers are not eligible.
3. The minimum academic requirement is 2:1 honours (or international equivalents).
4. This scholarship is available to students in their first year of study only.
5. You must have paid at least £1,000 towards your deposit within 14 days of receiving your scholarship offer. Otherwise, the scholarship offer will be withdrawn.
6. You agree to provide testimonials, feature in case studies, and/or participate in marketing activities upon request.

1. Obtain an offer for a programme starting in February 2026, September 2027.
2. Submit your application via one of the following links, depending on your intake: February 2026, September 2026 or February 2027. Deadlines can be found below.
3. Include a personal statement, and within 500 words, demonstrate your achievements in your field of study, your career aspirations, and your contribution to gender equality in the professional world.
4. You will be notified of the outcome via email.

1. February 2026 intake: Application closes on 30 November 2025. Successful applicants will be notified by 18 December 2025.
2. September 2026 intake: Application closes on 31 May 2026. Successful applicants will be notified by 30 June 2026.
3. February 2027 intake: Application closes on 31 October 2026. Successful applicants will be notified by 30 November 2026.
