2025 Jeffery Isaiah David Memorial Foundation Education Scholarship (JIDMF)

Applicants must pursue a vocational degree/certificate, associate's degree, first bachelor’s degree, or professional master's degree at an accredited two- or four-year college or university within the United States. The scholarship is a one-time award for educational expenses like fees, books, & supplies. Reapplication is allowed. We choose to support young minds in achieving their full potential.

Scholarship awards will be sent at the foundation's discretion, either directly to the student or to the institution/program.

We hope that after graduation and finding a fulfilling career, the recipients will pay tribute to the memory of PFC Jeffery Isaiah David by giving back to their community through admirable service in the future.


Eligibility Criteria for 2025 Jeffery Isaiah David Memorial Foundation Education Scholarship (JIDMF)

  1. Graduating High School Senior (Minimum 3.5 on 4.0 scale required)
  2. Continuing Education Student (Minimum 3.5 on 4.0 scale required)
  3. Trade/Vocational School
  4. Certificate Program
  5. Pursuing a vocational degree, certificate, associate’s degree, first bachelor’s degree, or professional master’s degree.

    Selection Process

    Completion of the essay or video prompt is a required component for consideration of your scholarship application.

    1. Must be written in English.
    2. Your own original work, created solely by you and without the use of any means of artificial intelligence (AI) and your words and experience alone.
    3. Must be between 400 and 500 words.
    4. Video (3-4 minutes) email/uploaded directly to Admin@JefferyIsaiahDavidMemorialFoundation.org

    Application Documents

    1. Complete the online Application
    2. Email transcripts (Email your last completed semester transcript. Final official transcript is required at year-end before the scholarship is awarded.)
    3. Email - two letters of recommendation
    4. Email: College acceptance letter
    5. Answer one essay prompt below, 400-500 words, or email a video dialogue (3-4 minutes) on the prompt.
