Eligibility Criteria for 2026 Bangor University Vice-Chancellor Scholarship

  1. Excellent Academic Background—achieved or on course to achieve the equivalent of a UK 1st class bachelor's degree.
  2. Demonstrated commitment towards sustainable development in your own country and working towards supporting future generations.
  3. You must be self-funding. Candidates who are fully sponsored by a third party will not be entitled to this Scholarship.
  4. Only open to students paying International Tuition Fee Levels.
  5. The above scholarship is available for full-time on-campus courses only.
  6. Not open to students studying at Bangor University International College (BUIC).
  7. Not open to Non-graduating students e.g. Study Abroad

How to Apply

Step 1: You MUST have an offer or be applying to study at Bangor University before you can apply for this scholarship.

Step 2: Check your Eligibility for the scholarship and carefully read the conditions listed below.

Step 3: Complete the Vice-Chancellor scholarship application form before the deadline.

Step 4: Eligible applications will be forwarded to the academic school to make a decision, and the successful candidate will be informed by July 2025 (September intake), April 2025 (May intake), and the beginning of January 2026 (January intake).

Step 5: To accept the scholarship, you will be required to complete a scholarship acceptance form and pay a tuition fee deposit (amount stated on your offer letter) within two weeks of the scholarship offer.
