A Level and IB Scholarship for International Students 2026/2027

The A level and IB scholarship is awarded to international students entering the University to study an undergraduate course in the 2026-2027 academic session.

Eligibility Criteria for A Level and IB Scholarship for International Students 2026/2027

To receive the award, the following criteria must be met. Applicants must be:

  1. Classed as an International/Overseas fee-payer status. Home fee-paying students are not eligible
  2. Achieve an IB Diploma score of 33 points or more, or A-level grades of ABB or higher
  3. Applying for the first year of an undergraduate course at level 4 (first year) starting in the 2026/27 academic year. Applicants applying for level 5 or 6 are not eligible as they would not be entering on the basis of their A-level or IB results, but would be eligible for the VC’s Undergraduate Scholarship.
  4. Applicants for the International Foundation Year would not be eligible but would receive the International Foundation Year Scholarship.
  5. Only international A levels administered by Cambridge International Examinations (CIE), Oxford AQA, Edexcel (Pearson), and Learning Resource Network (LRN) are eligible for this award, including the Singapore-Cambridge GCE Advanced Level. All A levels taken in the UK are eligible. No other equivalents are accepted.
