The Jocelyne Roy-Vienneau Undergraduate Engineering Scholarship for Women honors New Brunswick’s first female engineer Lieutenant Governor and supports APEGNB’s efforts to increase female representation in engineering. The $3,000 award recognizes female undergraduate engineering students who demonstrate leadership and serve as role models for other young women considering careers in engineering.

Eligibility Criteria for APEGNB Jocelyne Roy-Vienneau Undergraduate Engineering Scholarship for Women 2025

  2. Enrolled full-time in 2nd year or higher of an engineering undergraduate program
  3. In good academic standing
  4. Not eligible if you’ve previously won this award
  5. Selection Criteria Includes:

    1. Leadership in a university or community
    2. Serving as a role model for young women
    3. Volunteer activities
    4. Academic performance

    3. Résumé (highlighting leadership, community involvement, extracurriculars)
    4. Leadership essay (max 600 words)
    5. Letter of support from a professor

How to Apply

  1. Download and complete the official scholarship application form.
  2. Write a leadership essay (600 words max.) detailing your leadership contributions and how you inspire young women to pursue engineering.
  3. Collect and submit the following:
  4. Official transcript
  5. Résumé (include awards, community involvement, extracurriculars)
  6. Leadership essay
  7. Request a letter of support from one of your academic professors.
  8. They must send it directly to: info@apegnb.com by September 30, 11:59 p.m.
  9. Submit the completed form and other required info to info@apegnb.com
