Eligibility Criteria for ARES Fully Funded Scholarship in Belgium 2026

1. Be a national of, reside in and work in one of the 31 eligible countries (list below);
2. Be a holder of:
3. a diploma comparable to a 2 ^nd cycle diploma (300 ECTS credits) from a Belgian university for specialized masters and continuing education courses;
4. a diploma comparable to a 1 ^st cycle diploma (180 ECTS credits) from Belgian higher education for specialization baccalaureates .
5. Demonstrate at least two years’ relevant professional experience in an ARES partner country.

ARES Scholarship Belgium 2026 Eligible Countries

1. In Africa : Benin, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cameroon, Ethiopia, Guinea, Kenya, Madagascar, Mali, Morocco, Mozambique, Niger, DR Congo, Rwanda, Senegal, South Africa, Tanzania, Tunisia, Uganda and Zimbabwe.
2. In South America and the Caribbean : Bolivia, Cuba, Ecuador, Haiti, Peru.
3. Southeast Asia: Cambodia, Indonesia, Nepal, the Philippines, and Vietnam.
4. In Asia: Palestinian territory.

130 Bachelor’s and master’s scholarships and 70 continuing education scholarships are available.
