BGE Energizing Small Business Grants 2025 for U.S. Businesses (up to $20,000)

BGE is Maryland's largest natural gas and electric utility, providing safe and reliable energy delivery to more than 1.3 million electric customers and more than 680,000 natural gas customers in central Maryland. The company was founded in 1816 as the nation's first gas utility and remains headquartered in Baltimore City to this day.

Eligibility Criteria for BGE Energizing Small Business Grants 2025 for U.S. Businesses (up to $20,000)

Applicants must be a for-profit business and an existing BGE electric and/or gas customer in good standing with BGE. Other eligibility criteria include:

1. Be a for-profit business that has been operating for at least one (1) year at the start of the application.
2. In good standing (or on the way to) with the State of Maryland.
3. A maximum of twenty-five (25) full-time employees.
4. Annual gross revenues in 2024 of less than $7 million USD.
5. Demonstrated need for funding to support business and serve customers.
