Eligibility Criteria for Boston University Metropolitan College (BU MET) Merit Scholarships 2026

Consideration for a merit scholarship is based on the following eligibility requirements:

  1. Applicants must be seeking admission to a master’s degree program at BU MET
  2. The Application for Graduate Admission must be submitted by the relevant application deadline

This merit scholarship cannot be combined with other BU scholarships or discounts. Please note that employees of Boston University, employees of Boston Medical Center (BMC), and recipients of the City of Boston Employees Scholarship are not eligible for merit scholarships.

How to Apply

A completed Application for Graduate Admission must be submitted to be considered for a scholarship. No additional application is required.

All domestic and international applicants to a master’s degree program are automatically considered for this merit scholarship. The admissions committee will nominate admitted students to receive this award based on the strength of each applicant’s academic qualifications and professional experiences. Scholarship recipients will be notified of their award with their admissions decision.
