Fetola Fire (Fuelling Investment and Rapid Expansion), supported by JPMorgan Chase, is designed to help 60 black-owned and managed businesses become investment-ready. This structured, 12-month programme provides guidance, tools, and support to help entrepreneurs unlock funding and grow their businesses.

The 12-month journey is designed to enhance investment readiness. Entrepreneurs will receive tailored business development support, including financial resilience coaching, compliance and financial management training, and hands-on guidance in investment preparation. The programme also provides expert mentoring, access to technical assistance, and personalized support to help SMEs secure funding and scale successfully.

Eligibility Criteria for Call for Applications: Fetola Fire Programme for Entrepreneurs 2025

To qualify for this programme your business should be:

Majority black-owned and managed business
Entrepreneur is involved in the business on a full-time basis
Business has been trading for a minimum of 2 years and a maximum of 10 years, with operational proof
Minimum Annual revenue of R500,000 in the last financial year (2024)
Business must employ a minimum of 2 employees
Preferred Industries: Agriculture, Agro-processing, Manufacturing, Logistics, Green Economy (water, waste, energy)and Circular Economy*
Female and youth entrepreneurs are encouraged to apply
