The Women Exporters in the Digital Economy (WEIDE) Fund, launched by the WTO and the ITC, aims to empower women entrepreneurs by improving their access to international and digital trade. With a USD 50 million commitment, the Fund provides financial support, technical assistance, and mentorship to women-led micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). It helps businesses expand their digital presence, access global markets, and enhance their competitiveness in the digital economy.
Eligibility Criteria for Call For Applications: WTO & ITC Launch 2025 WEIDE Fund to Empower Women-Led Businesses in the Digital Economy (Up To USD 30,000 Grant)
- Women-led businesses in the Dominican Republic, Mongolia, and Nigeria (applications for Jordan will be accepted later).
- Businesses must be export-ready and keen to engage in digital trade.
- Applicants must demonstrate potential for business growth and job creation.
- Businesses must be registered and operational in the eligible countries.
- Businesses that can demonstrate their export potential and readiness to engage in digital trade.
- Preference for businesses with strong growth potential and the ability to create new job opportunities.
- The selection process is managed through collaboration with Business Support Organizations (BSOs) in each country.
