The primary aim of this research is to develop innovative AI-based predictive analytics frameworks tailored for maritime applications, with focus in the following areas:

Predictive Maintenance and Anomaly Detection

AI-Driven Risk Assessment and Maritime Insurance

Eligibility Criteria for Computer Science PhD Studentship at Bournemouth University 25/26

Entry requirements:

A BSc 2:1 or MSc in Computing, Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning or AI
Available to UK and international students
The studentship is based primarily at Talbot Campus, with short stints at the company in Poole.

International entry requirements:

An IELTS (Academic) score of 6.5 minimum (with a minimum of 6.0 in each component, or equivalent) for candidates for whom English is not their first language, and this must be evidenced at the point of application.
