1. Be a registered student entering Year 1 of GY401 or GY402 at University of Galway.
2. A commitment to a future career in Civil Engineering.
3. Preference may be given to students from underrepresented groups in Engineering or students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds

1. The closing date for receipt of applications is Friday, 24th October 2025
2. All applicants will be required to supply a personal statement as part of the application process. The personal statement should be no more than 500 words and may include reference to the following: the impact of the scholarship on the student’s academic and career aspirations; relevant personal circumstances; a demonstrated passion for Civil Engineering; notable academic achievements to date; and any financial need.
3. Shortlisted applicants will be called for interview and reviewed by a panel. Applicants invited for interview will be required to be available, in-person on Friday 7th November 2025
