DEWALT Trades Scholarship 2026 for Skilled Trades Students

The DEWALT Trades Scholarship, offered in partnership with The SkillPointe Foundation, provides $5,000 to support students pursuing high-demand skilled trade programs. Open to applicants in the United States and Canada, this scholarship supports vocational, technical, and community college students training in industries such as construction, industrial manufacturing, mechanics, technology, and motor/power specialties. Awards are paid directly to the recipient’s school or training center.

Eligibility Criteria for DEWALT Trades Scholarship 2026 for Skilled Trades Students

1. Currently enrolled in or accepted to a post-secondary school or training program and pursuing a high-demand skilled trade. Primary focus includes community colleges, vocational or technical institutions, career centers, dual enrollment programs, 2-year transitional programs.
2. Eligible Locations: United States and Canada.
3. Pursuing educational training related to one of the following industries (some example program pathways provided):
4. Construction—Carpentry, Plumbing, Electrical, Masonry, HVAC, Pipefitting, Welding
5. Industrial – Maintenance & Repair Technicians, Manufacturing, Plant Operations, Fabrication, Quality Control, Robotics & Automation
6. Motor / Power – Diesel, Automotive, Small Engine Repair, Power Plant Operations, Generators & Turbines
7. Mechanics—Automotive Service, Heavy Equipment Operations, Aviation (mechanics, avionics), Fleet Maintenance, Hydraulic & Pneumatic Systems
8. Technology—Applied Electronics & Controls, Computer-Aided Design (CAD)/Drafting, Electrical Engineering, Fire Science, Mechatronics

Employees and/or spouses or dependents of employees of Stanley Black & Decker or DEWALT are not eligible to apply.

Selection Process

1. Application Opens: November 4, 2025
2. Application Deadline: February 28, 2026
