A prestigious scholarship aimed at recruiting the best students from here and elsewhere to enroll in the doctoral program in pharmaceutical sciences at the Faculty of Pharmacy of Laval University.

Eligibility Criteria for Goodman Doctoral Scholarship in Pharmaceutical Sciences 2026

1. Having obtained a cumulative average of at least 3.70/4.33* (A- or equivalent) in the bachelor's (BSc or Licence) and master's (MSc or Master) degrees;
2. Having obtained the agreement of a professor from the Faculty of Pharmacy at Laval University to act as research director;
3. Have submitted a complete application for admission to the PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences or the PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences – Pharmacoepidemiology for the Winter, Summer or Fall 2026 session.

Evaluation criteria:

1. Communication skills (30%);
2. Academic excellence (25%);
3. Research experience and productivity (20%);
4. Quality, impact and innovative nature of the research project (10%);
5. Quality and supervision of the proposed research environment (10%).
6. Leadership and creativity in research (5%).

Submission of the file

You must complete the online form. Please note that documents submitted by email will not be considered.

Any document submitted in a language other than French or English must be accompanied by a certified translation of the original.

IDENTIFICATION/SUBMISSION: To submit your application, you must authenticate yourself using the personal identification information you received, or will receive, from the Registrar's Office when creating your application file at Université Laval. It may take 48 to 72 hours before you can log in and submit your application. Therefore, you must submit your application no later than January 14, 2026.

RESPONDER: Your referee (research supervisor) will be invited by email to complete a form that will be automatically added to your file. He or she will need to submit the following documents:

1. FRQS Common Curriculum Vitae;
2. Letter of support to the candidate confirming the commitment as research director (maximum two pages);
3. Statement of vision and positioning of the laboratory in the field (two pages).
