Hungary Announces the Corvinus University EKÖP Fellowship 2025-2026

The EKÖP Fellowship (University Research Fellowships), formerly the National Excellence Fellowship Programme, supports outstanding undergraduates, master’s students, doctoral candidates, and early-career researchers in Hungary. Hosted at Corvinus University of Budapest, this fellowship offers financial support and research mentorship to help recipients excel in economics and social sciences research. All research fields are offered at Corvinus University of Budapest, particularly those related to economics, business, and social sciences.
Eligibility Criteria for Hungary Announces the Corvinus University EKÖP Fellowship 2025-2026
- Undergraduate students (including prospective students)
- Master’s students (including incoming applicants)
- Doctoral candidates
- Young lecturers and researchers
- Must secure a Corvinus University supervisor related to the research topic
- Submit a research plan and scientific CV
- Include all required signed documents in the correct format (PDF)
- Applications assessed based on academic merit, research potential, and completeness of submission
How are Applicants Selected?
Benefits of Hungary Announces the Corvinus University EKÖP Fellowship 2025-2026
Undergraduate Students: 5 or 10 months, 125,000 HUF
Master’s Students: 5 or 10 months, 150,000 HUF
Doctoral Students: 12 months, 180,000 HUF
Young Lecturers/Researchers: 12 months, 200,000 HUF
How to Apply
- Secure a Corvinus Supervisor (mandatory for bachelor’s and master’s categories)
- Prepare Documents:
- Research Plan with Scientific CV
- Official documents (PDF only)
- Signed application forms (digitally or scanned)
- Submit via Email by June 2025 to the relevant address:
