Eligibility Criteria for Lancaster University International Regional Scholarship 2026

You will automatically be considered for this scholarship if you:

1. are a national of, or your permanent home address is within, one of the following countries/regions:

10. Pakistan
11. Sri Lanka
12. Taiwan

15. Vietnam
16. achieve, or already hold, a 1st or 2:1 degree (or equivalent) in your undergraduate studies

The scholarship is available across all MA, MSc, and LLM full-time taught postgraduate degree programmes offered fully on campus at Lancaster University, Bailrigg campus. It is not available to students applying for MSc by Research programmes or online programmes.

1. Applicants must have accepted a conditional or unconditional offer from Lancaster University for October 2026 entry
2. Applicants in receipt of external funding will only be eligible for this scholarship where the external funding covers less than 50% of the tuition fee.
3. Applicants applying from articulation partners and Pre-Master's programmes offered by Lancaster University are not eligible for this scholarship.
4. Awardees must be classed as 'overseas' or ‘international' fee-paying students for tuition fee purposes, for the duration of their studies. If you are awarded the scholarship and are subsequently reassessed as a ‘home’ fee-payer, you will no longer be eligible for the scholarship.
5. Lancaster University reserves the right to withdraw this scholarship or bursary if award holders are subsequently found to be ineligible or if the terms and conditions of the scholarship are not adhered to.
