Eligibility Criteria for Manchester Metropolitan University International Scholarships 2026-2027

Undergraduate:

1. Applicants must hold an offer for a full-time, taught undergraduate degree programme at Manchester Metropolitan University, and begin their studies in September 2026.
2. Part-time programmes are eligible for the award. The scholarship will be awarded on a pro-rata basis in proportion to the tuition fees charged, which means you will receive a proportion of the scholarship in each year of your course.

The following programmes are eligible:

1. 3-year Bachelor’s degree
2. 4-year Bachelor’s degree, including an integrated study abroad or placement year (Scholarship is not payable for the year spent on study abroad or placement)
3. 4-year Bachelor’s degree, including an integrated foundation year programme
4. 4-year integrated Master’s degree
5. Students with advanced standing and joining a degree programme at level 5 or 6 are eligible, providing all course and applicant-related terms and conditions are met.
6. One-year top-up degree courses are eligible for the Scholarship, as long as all course and applicant-related terms and conditions are met.
7. Only courses being taught on the Manchester Campus are eligible.
8. Applicants must be self-funding and classified as overseas students for tuition fee purposes.
9. Scholarships are only available for new undergraduate Manchester Metropolitan University students; current students moving from one course to another are not eligible.
10. Applicants must successfully meet any conditions set for entry onto the programme.

Postgraduate:

1. Applicants must hold an offer for a taught master’s course (180 credits) at Manchester Metropolitan University, unless specifically stated.
2. This offer is only available for programmes commencing in September 2026 or in January 2027.
3. The Scholarship offer will only be applied to postgraduate programmes consisting of a minimum of 180 credits, unless specifically stated.
4. Eligible applicants will be awarded a £3,000 Scholarship.
5. Students studying part-time will be eligible for the Scholarship providing they are paying overseas fees. The scholarship will be awarded on a pro-rata basis, in proportion to the tuition fees charged, which means they will receive a proportion of the scholarship in each year of their course.
6. Only courses being taught on the Manchester Campus are eligible.
7. Applicants must be self-funding and classified as overseas students for tuition fee purposes.
8. Applicants must successfully meet all conditions set for entry onto their chosen course of study.

Benefits of Manchester Metropolitan University International Scholarships 2026-2027
