Fully Funded MasterCard Foundation Scholars Program at University of Pretoria for African Students 2025

The University of Pretoria (UP), in partnership with the Mastercard Foundation, has been offering scholarships for high-achieving African students who are studying at undergraduate and postgraduate levels since January 2014. The Foundation will be entering into a new phase in January 2024, and it will target academically talented young people facing economic and social barriers, inclusive of those living with disability in Africa and internally displaced/refugees, that will contribute to the transformation of the continent through their knowledge, skills, attitudes, and values evidenced by their leadership. Community service and internships are essential components of the Program.
The Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program offers a full scholarship to selected students who have been admitted to study towards a postgraduate degree at UP. Graduates must return to their home countries upon completion of their studies and give back to their communities.
Eligibility Criteria for MasterCard Foundation Scholars Program at University of Pretoria 2025
- The UP Scholarship is open to candidates from Africa.
- Applications are welcome from candidates searching for undergraduate and postgraduate diplomas.
- A candidate should have expertise in neighborhood service and management.
- Candidates are additionally anticipated to take care of an excessive tutorial common all through their tutorial careers.
- Candidates should exhibit monetary want and come from economically deprived backgrounds.

How to Apply
