PhD scholarships are open to:

1. Citizens of countries on the African Continent
2. Refugees living in any the African Continent

Selection Process

1. Good academic standing in the previous degree
2. Talent that exceeds financial resources
3. Commitment to giving back to the community, country, and region
4. Leadership skills
5. Commitment to attend all the additional learning experiences and workshops required by the Scholars Program
6. 35 years or younger
7. Demonstration of Readiness for University Studies in English (RUSE).

IMPORTANT NOTE: For an application to be considered complete, applicants must have completed (1) the AUB online graduate application and (2) the AUB Financial Aid Application.
