The McCall MacBain Scholarships at the University of Melbourne provide an exceptional opportunity for postgraduate students with strong leadership potential and a desire to make a meaningful impact. The scholarship supports students who are enrolling in master's or professional degree programs.

Eligibility Criteria for McCall MacBain Scholarship 2025 at University of Melbourne

To be eligible to apply for our 2026 cohort, you will need to meet ONE of the following criteria:

1. You are a current student on track to earn your first bachelor’s degree by August 2026
2. You earned your first bachelor’s degree in the last five years (January 2020 or later)
3. You earned your first bachelor’s degree more than five years ago, and were 30 years or younger on January 1st, 2025

You will also need to meet the minimum degree and language requirements for McGill master’s program admission.

Selection criteria

Students who are endorsed by the University of Melbourne will have their application reviewed by McCall MacBain Scholarship assessors. Shortlisted applicants be asked to attend a regional interview (online) between October and December. Finalists will advance to final interviews in Montréal in March of the following year.
