Mount Royal University President's Scholarship 2026

The President's Scholarship is awarded to students enrolling in the first year of any degree or diploma program in the upcoming fall semester. Applicants must have applied for admission by 1 February and be currently enrolled in Grade 12 or be a recent graduate. Students with prior post-secondary education or who receive a Chancellor’s Scholarship are not eligible.

The scholarship is merit-based, considering academic achievement (overall average of 80% in five appropriate Grade 12 subjects) and extracurricular leadership contributions.

The award is $7,500, disbursed in two installments (Fall and Winter).

Eligibility Criteria for Mount Royal University President's Scholarship 2026

1. Must be a first-year full-time undergraduate student
2. Applied for admission by February 1
3. Current Grade 12 student or recent graduate (within last calendar year)
4. Must not have previous post-secondary education
5. Students receiving a Chancellor’s Scholarship are not eligible
6. Academic requirement: overall 80% average in five appropriate Grade 12 subjects
7. Evidence of leadership in extracurricular and community activities
