NNPC - SNEPCo National University Scholarship Award 2025

The Shell Nigeria Exploration and Production Company Limited (SNEPCo), on behalf of itself, Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) Limited, and its co-venture partners, hereby invites applications from qualified Nigerian students for the 2025 NNPC - SNEPCo National University Scholarship Programme. The programme aims at promoting academic excellence and improving the skills of young Nigerians. It provides a yearly grant to the successful applicants from their second year to the completion of their undergraduate degree programme.

Eligibility Criteria for NNPC - SNEPCo National University Scholarship Award 2025

The merit-based scholarship is open to full-time undergraduates studying in Public Universities within Nigeria.

Applicants must:

1. Be a Nigerian citizen.
2. Currently in their second year of full-time study in a Public Nigerian University accredited by the NUC.
3. Have a minimum CGPA of 3.5 in a 5-grade system or the equivalent in other grade systems; and
4. Not be a beneficiary of any other scholarship from an entity in the Oil and Gas industry, National or International.

Selection Process

Applicants must:

1. Applications MUST be received not later than the specified deadline via the scholarship portal ONLY.
2. Only candidates who meet the eligibility criteria will be invited for the monitored computer-based test.
3. Only the top 10 candidates will be shortlisted from each of the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory for academic verification prior to the scholarship offers.
4. Candidates with falsified results will be disqualified.
5. Only candidates who have successfully satisfied the above criteria will be contacted to receive the scholarship award.
6. All scholars must maintain a minimum of 3.5 CGPA per session in a 5-grade system or the equivalent in other grade systems to sustain the award.

Application Documents

Applicants should upload scanned copies of the following as part of the application:

1. A recent passport-sized photograph of the applicant in JPEG format, not more than 200 kilobytes
2. University or JAMB Admission Letter
3. Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME) Result
4. O' Level Result(s) and 'A' Level/OND/NCE Result(s) as applicable
5. Letter of Identification from the State of Origin, indicating the applicant's local government of origin, and,
6. Academic results (CGPA) after completing 100 level

How to Apply

2. Click on "Register Now" to create an account.

3. Proceed to your email inbox to activate your account

4. Click on https://candidate.scholastica.ng/schemes/NNPCLTDSNEPCo25 to return to the Scholarship site

5. Enter your registered email and password to upload your information.

6. Enter your personal information, National Identification Number (if available), educational information, other information, and upload required scanned documents.

7. Ensure the name used in applications matches the names on all documentation in the same order. Upload an affidavit or certificate if otherwise.

8. Ensure you view all documents after uploading to eliminate errors during uploading.

9. When asked to upload a photo, upload a passport photograph with a white background.

10. Recheck application information to avoid errors

11. Return to "Active Scholarships" and click on the scheme you wish to apply for and click "Apply Now" to submit information

12. You will receive a notification displayed on the screen and via email that you have successfully applied. To confirm, check "My application" under the "My account" section on your profile account.

13. Return to www.scholastica.ng, enter your Email and Password to download your profile and proceed to have your Head of Department sign the document.

14. Upload a scanned copy of the signed profile; this will be used for verification.

15. If the National Identification Number (NIN) was not available in step 6, to obtain your National Identification Number (NIN)

1. Visit http://ninenrol.gov.ng to register and learn more about the National Identity Number.
2. Click "Create Account" and fill in the required fields
3. Log in with your Email and Password to complete the form.
4. After completion, schedule a date for photo and fingerprint capture.
5. Visit any of the 37 capture centres http://www.nimc.gov.ng/?q=nin-registration-centres to complete the registration process and obtain your National Identity Number.
6. You can also do your total registration at the NIMC office.

16. Return to www.scholastica.ng and update the application with National Identification Number (NIN) to ensure completion
