Cullen Scholarships are designed to encourage and inspire leadership qualities in students who have a passion and enthusiasm for the landscape horticulture industry.

Scholarships are awarded to contribution-oriented candidates who possess integrity, honesty, perseverance and initiative and who care about their fellow students, teachers, community and industry.

Eligibility Criteria for Ontario Horticultural Trades Foundation (OTHF) Cullen Scholarships 2025

  1. Candidates must be nominated by the coordinator of their program.
  2. Nominated students must be involved in a full-time Landscape/Horticultural Program at the following schools (listed below).
  3. Click here to read the list of eligible programs by Institution and find the full program details.
  4. Nominees must reside in Ontario.
  5. All other nominations will not be reviewed.
  6. In addition to the scholarships listed above, $5,000 will remain in the Cullen Scholarships Fund for a need-based circumstance.

    Interview Dates and Process

    All documents must be submitted with your application by June 30, 11:59:59 PM EDT.

    Application Documents

    1. Copy or photo of your current Driver's License or other government-issued ID bearing your address.
    2. Health cards are not accepted
    3. Card must be valid, not expired or suspended
    4. Copy or photo of a utility bill addressed to you, your parent(s) or guardian(s), listing your current address.
    5. Copy or photo of correspondence sent from your post-secondary institution addressed to you at your current address.
