SAICA’s Thuthuka Bursary Fund 2026 for Aspiring Chartered Accountants in South Africa

Thuthuka bursary is only open to students who want to become Chartered accountants. Successful applicants will be required to sign a contract with both the Thuthuka Education and Upliftment Fund (TEUF) and the National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) to be awarded a bursary.

Eligibility Criteria for SAICA’s Thuthuka Bursary Fund 2026

1. Thuthuka Bursary cannot be used to pay for existing loans or debts.
2. Applicants will be considered according to academic performance, National Benchmark Test (NBT) results and financial need as determined by the NSFAS financial means test.
3. The funding application is for the 2026 academic year.
