Fully Funded DAAD EPOS Scholarships 2026–2027 for Professionals from Developing Countries (Study in Germany)

The DAAD EPOS (Development-Related Postgraduate Courses) Scholarships support professionals from developing countries to pursue fully funded Master’s or PhD degrees in Germany in fields critical to sustainable development.

Eligibility Criteria for Fully Funded DAAD EPOS Scholarships 2026–2027 for Professionals from Developing Countries (Study in Germany)

  1. Graduates from eligible developing countries
  2. With at least 2 years of relevant professional experience
  3. With a Bachelor’s (for Master’s) or Master’s (for PhD) degree
  4. Completed their last degree no more than 6 years ago
  5. Currently working in a development-related field
  6. Selection Process

    1. Strong academic record (top third of class)
    2. Development-related motivation
    3. Relevant professional experience
    4. Language proficiency (IELTS/TOEFL or B1 German)
    5. Potential to contribute to positive change in home country

    Eligible Countries

    Applicants from developing countries listed in the OECD-DAC List (excluding some transition countries).

  1. Monthly stipend (€934 for Master’s, €1,300 for PhD)
  2. Full tuition (where applicable)
