SJM Concerts funds scholarships to help business, law and events students from Black, Asian or minority ethnic backgrounds. The scholarships aim to remove the financial barriers to education with the hope of improving diversity in the events industry.

Eligibility Criteria for SJM Concerts Futures Scholarship at MMU 2025

1. Be from a Black, Asian or minority ethnic background.
2. Hold a firm offer to study a new full-time course in the 2025/26 academic year, excluding foundation year and distance learning, on one of the following courses:
3. LLB (Hons)
4. BA (Hons) Business Management
5. BA (Hons) Business Management with Law
6. BA (Hons) Events Management
7. BA (Hons) Music and Sound Design
8. Have a household income of £42,875 or less. We’ll check this against your Student Finance application. Please contact us if you will not be applying to Student Finance for a maintenance loan.
9. Be a UK student—English, Scottish, Welsh, or Northern Irish—paying the standard full-time fees, and have a UK Student Support Number.
10. Pay for your course yourself, including through a student loan or a payment from your parents. Your course fees must not be paid by a business, charity or other organisation.

Benefits of SJM Concerts Futures Scholarship at MMU 2025

1. £1,500 a year for up to three years.
