The University of Southampton is offering the Global Excellence Scholarship 2026 to support outstanding international postgraduate students. Eligibility Criteria for Southampton Global Excellence Scholarship 2026

Must be an international student paying overseas tuition fees.
Must hold a conditional or unconditional offer for an in-person, full-time postgraduate master’s programme.
Must pay tuition fee deposit by 15 January 2026.
Not open to applicants from China, Vietnam, Nigeria, India, and Thailand.

How to Apply

No separate application is required.
Scholarships are awarded automatically to the first 83 eligible students who meet all conditions and pay the tuition fee deposit by the deadline.
If combined with another Southampton scholarship, only 50% of the Excellence Scholarship value will be added, ensuring total awards do not exceed 100% of tuition fees.
