Eligibility Criteria for Standard Bank Group Bursary Fund 2025 for Young South Africans

To apply, you must:

1. Be a South African citizen
2. Have achieved an average of 65% and above in the latest examinations (mid-year/June)
3. Be registered for full-time undergraduate or postgraduate studies
4. Meet the admission requirements of your university if applying for a postgraduate bursary.

To qualify, you should be well-rounded academically, with strong performance in any of the following fields:

1. Accounting
2. Actuarial science
3. Analytics
4. Commerce
5. Computer and data science
6. Economics
7. Engineering
8. Finance
9. Information technology
10. Investments
11. Mathematics
12. Statistics.

Selection Process

The Standard Bank Bursary is available if you require funding for your first, second, third, and final year of undergraduate studies, as well as if you want to pursue your postgraduate studies up to the Master’s level.
