Sub-Saharan Africa Scholarship at Edinburgh Napier University 2026-27

Edinburgh Napier University is offering a limited number of partial scholarships worth £2,000 (GBP), to self-funding students domiciled in Sub-Saharan Africa (see country eligibility below) starting a course at Edinburgh Napier in January 2026. The scholarship is tenable for one academic year.

Eligibility Criteria for Sub-Saharan Africa Scholarship at Edinburgh Napier University 2026-27

To be eligible for this award, you must be:

  1. domiciled at the time of application in Sub-Saharan Africa, excluding Benin, Cameroon, Cote d’Ivoire, Ghana, Nigeria, Senegal and Togo. If you are applying from one of these countries, please refer to our West Africa Scholarship.
  2. self-funding your course
  3. meet the entry criteria for a Bachelors or eligible taught Masters course in September 2025 and January 2026

If you have discounted tuition fees from a partner university or are in receipt of another scholarship, you are not eligible for this scholarship.

Please Note – MRes programmes and the following Masters degrees are not eligible for this award:

  1. MBA (Business Leadership and Practice)
  2. MBA (Strategic Project Management)
  3. MSc Global Hospitality Management (extended)
  4. MSc Computing with Professional Placement
  5. MSc Pharmaceutical & Analytical Science

How to Apply

Scholarships are awarded automatically once you have paid your deposit payment towards your tuition fees. The number of scholarships is limited and they are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Once you have paid your deposit, please email cas@napier.ac.uk to be considered.
