Te Papa Scholarships: The Cliff Whiting Memorial Scholarship 2025

The Cliff Whiting Memorial Scholarship was created by the Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa (Te Papa) to honour the late Cliff Whiting, a founding Kaihautū of Te Papa. This scholarship supports students enrolled in a full-time taught Master’s in Museum and Heritage Studies at Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington.

Preference is given to applicants of Māori descent, and recipients may also be invited to participate in an internship organized directly with Te Papa.
