Toronto Metropolitan University President's Entrance Scholarships 2026

The President’s Entrance Scholarship at Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU) is awarded to exceptional secondary school graduates who demonstrate outstanding academic achievement, leadership potential, and creative ability. Twelve (12) recipients are selected each year to receive up to $40,000 CAD ($10,000 annually, renewable) toward their undergraduate studies.

Eligibility Criteria for Toronto Metropolitan University President's Entrance Scholarships 2026

1. Minimum 90% admission average (based on best 6 Grade 12 U/M courses or equivalent)
2. This application will ask that you include the following:
3. An essay or project summary: this may be a piece of creative writing or a summary of any creative project that you may have undertaken. It must reflect your capacity for original thought and creative ability (max 500 words).
4. Two (2) letters of reference:
5. academic reference letter that confirms your scholastic abilities. This reference may also speak to your leadership/creative endeavours.
6. The reference letter should address your leadership/creative endeavours. It should not verify academic achievement.
7. Your leadership activities: you will indicate the leadership activities/positions that you have been involved in during your final 2 years in secondary school.
