UBC Postdoctoral Research – Sustainable Process Design 2025

The Laboratory of Future Industry (LoFI), in the Mechanical Engineering Department at the University of British Columbia, is hiring a Postdoctoral Research Associate to work under the supervision of Dr. Alexandra Tavasoli.

This position will contribute to an industry-funded project focused on sustainable chemical manufacturing processes for textile production. The project will involve chemical process design, computational modeling, and techno-economic analysis.

Eligibility Criteria for UBC Postdoctoral Research – Sustainable Process Design 2025

  1. PhD in Chemical or Industrial Engineering, or relevant equivalent experience
  2. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required to interface with industry partners

    The start date for the position is 1 October 2025, or shortly thereafter.
