Eligibility Criteria for UCEF Scholarship Program for Nigerian Students 2025

To qualify for the UCEF 2025 Scholarship, applicants must meet specific criteria. This ensures that we support those who truly need assistance in their educational journey.

The UCEF Scholarship supports committed Christian students attending federal and state universities across Southeast and South-South Nigeria who face financial barriers that threaten their ability to complete their education. This scholarship program is designed to ensure that financial hardship does not prevent dedicated Christian students from pursuing their academic goals and achieving their full potential.

  1. Only committed Christian students who have gained admission to federal or state universities in Nigeria's South-East and South-South regions may apply.
  2. Applicants must demonstrate financial need that prevents them from continuing their education.
  3. Applicants MUST be Nigerian citizens.
  4. Applicants must not be beneficiaries of any other scholarship program.
  5. Academic Requirements: First-year students must have scored at least 200 points in JAMB. Returning students must maintain a minimum CGPA of 3.5 on a 5-point scale. Medical students and those with alternative grading systems must have passed all courses up to the point of application
  6. Applicants must be active members of a Christian organization and demonstrate consistent, committed involvement throughout their university studies.
