The UNIL Master’s Scholarship offers exceptional international students the opportunity to pursue a Master’s degree at the University of Lausanne, Switzerland. The scholarship provides CHF 1,600 per month for the full duration of the selected Master’s program.
Recipients are exempt from tuition fees, except for a CHF 80 administrative fee per semester. Note that this scholarship is not fully funded and may not cover all living expenses in Switzerland.

Eligibility Criteria for UNIL Master’s Scholarship 2026/27
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree from a foreign university equivalent to a Swiss Bachelor’s
- Have excellent academic records
- Language proficiency (C1) in English or French depending on program language
- Must not be registered at UNIL already
- Pay CHF 200 administrative fee
- Submit two recommendation letters sent separately by referees

- If applicable, send certified copies by post (for universities outside Lisbon Convention)
- Referees must email recommendation letters directly to mastergrants@unil.ch
