University of Greenwich Research Scholarship 2025 (Engineering & Science)

This studentship seeks to understand the underlying mechanisms of systems thinking and how this relates to the use of CSA practices. More specifically it aims, using a novel multi-disciplinary lens, to examine whether neural correlates of systems thinking exist by pairing the network measures from cognitive mapping/mental models (cognitive psychology methodology), observational learning (learning theory), theory of planned behavior (psychology/behavioral economics framework) with the brain activity (e.g. network analysis/imaging) revealed by the use of mobile neuroscience data collection tools.
