The UWS Merit Bursary is a targeted bursary and only applies to all students who are classified as either English, Welsh, Northern Irish (Rest of UK) or Irish (Republic of Ireland) for the purposes of Tuition Fee Status studying at a UWS Scottish Campus.

Eligibility Criteria for University of the West of Scotland Undergraduate Merit Bursary 2025-2026
- Scholarships will be awarded to first-degree (bachelor's degrees—BA, BAcc, BSc, BEng, etc./integrated master's degrees—MEng) students.
- Awarded to students who have applied to study full-time at one of the UWS Scottish campuses.
