Eligibility Criteria for UTS Academic Merit International Scholarship 2025 for International Students from South Asia

To be eligible for the Scholarship, an applicant must meet all of the following criteria:

  1. Remain an international student (not an Australian citizen, New Zealand citizen or permanent resident of Australia); and
  2. Be a citizen of a country in the South Asia region (Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Pakistan or Sri Lanka); and
  3. Meet all admission requirements for the selected UTS undergraduate (including Honours programs) or postgraduate coursework program; and
  4. Commence full-time and on campus (Sydney)[1]; and
  5. Must not be:
  6. Studying a UTS online degree or distance degree; or
  7. A recipient of other UTS scholarships or grants, or the UTS Alumni Advantage Program for the duration of this Scholarship and be a government-sponsored student.


Benefits of UTS Academic Merit International Scholarship 2025 for International Students from South Asia

  1. The scholarship covers 15% of UTS tuition fees for eligible students.

How to Apply

For undergraduate admission, academic merit in the qualification used as the basis of admission for entry into the selected UTS undergraduate program.

For postgraduate admission, academic merit in the most recently completed and recognised qualification or the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT Exam) or Graduate Record Examination (GRE General Test) (both tests accepted for admission into UTS Business School programs only) for entry into the selected postgraduate coursework program.
