World Resources Institute Living Lab Internship 2025

WRI is widely recognized as a leader on energy and climate issues and is now establishing The Living Lab: Behavioral Design for Equitable Climate Action (TLL) to raise the profile of behavior change as a critical climate solution and scale the adoption of policies that shift populations towards pro-climate behaviors.
Specifically, TLL partners with local leaders and stakeholders in order to identify policies that can shift populations towards the most impactful pro-climate behaviors; co-designs field-based projects that inform national policy and connect to global movements; and leverages partnerships to catalyze their research and accelerate adoption of policies at the subnational, national, and cross-national level. TLL is unique in that the unit will explore both the climate and socio-economic benefits of proposed behavioral policy changes.
This is a hybrid position that requires 8 days per month in the office. You can be based in their office in Washington DC, Office. Existing work authorization is required at the time of application submission, as WRI is unable to sponsor any visa work sponsorship for this position.

- Support research dissemination efforts by drafting press articles highlighting behavior change strategies in food, transport, and energy
