Chevron Nigeria Limited (“CNL”) is a leading integrated energy company operating under a joint venture arrangement with the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited. CNL upholds integrity, trust, diversity, and ingenuity as a company and among its employees.

CNL’s internship program is a part of Chevron’s commitment to corporate social responsibility and supporting the Student Industrial Work Experience Scheme. The program provides learning opportunities for Nigerian students pursuing undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate degrees. The program is designed to enable students to build and demonstrate technical knowledge, develop new skills, and contribute effectively in a professional environment.

​As an Intern, you will work on varied assignments in line with your discipline and/or research work. You will report to a supervisor who will assign day-to-day tasks and oversee your growth and development.

Eligibility Criteria for 2025 Chevron Nigeria Internship Program for Nigerian Students

  1. The program is open only to Nigerian students studying in-country or overseas.
  2. Requirements

    1. Prospective candidates will be required to obtain a recommendation letter from their institutions which must be submitted with the internship application.
    2. The internship has a minimum duration of 3 months with a maximum of 12 months as applicable.
    3. All applications must be submitted online through the application portal.
    4. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
    5. All applicants will go through a shortlisting process, which will include aptitude tests. Selections will be strictly based on performance and available space.
