The TotalEnergies International Scholarship (TIS), funded by NNPC Limited and TotalEnergies, provides fully funded master’s scholarships for Nigerian postgraduate students to study in universities in France. Since 2004, at least 151 Nigerians have been supported under this scheme. The scholarship aims to give young Nigerians international exposure and advanced academic training at top French universities.

Eligibility Criteria for TotalEnergies International Scholarship (TIS) 2026
To be eligible for the NNPC/TotalEnergies International Scholarship, applicants must satisfy the following conditions:
- Hold a university degree
- Have graduated with a minimum of second class upper division, earned no earlier than five (5) years prior, and
- Must have completed the mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) scheme.
The NNPC/TotalEnergies Masters Scholarship will accept applications to the following programmes;
- Management science,
- Engineering, and
- Geosciences (oil and gas related)
