International Undergraduate Excellence Award 2026

The International Undergraduate Excellence Award is designed to support international students who have achieved academic excellence and show passion for their chosen field of study. We're offering scholarships for high-achieving international students, covering £2,500 towards the first year of your full time Bachelor’s tuition fees.

Eligibility Criteria for International Undergraduate Excellence Award 2026

You must be classified as overseas fee status and hold an offer for a full time Bachelors course starting in September 2026.

Please note that you are NOT eligible to apply for this scholarship if you fall into one or more of the below categories:

  1. If you are applying for a Bachelor’s programme with an integrated foundation year
  2. If you are applying for an International Summer School or Study Abroad Programme
  3. If you are receiving sponsorship or funding from an external organisation or governmental body (this excludes student loan schemes such as US Federal Aid or Lanekassen)
  4. If you are eligible for any other discount on your course fees such as a partner student discount or EU Qualifications Award

Selection Criteria

Applicants will need to demonstrate academic excellence and have grades that are significantly above the minimum requirement for their course of study. Applicants should also show a passion for their chosen subject.

Benefits of International Undergraduate Excellence Award 2026

£2,500 Tuition Fee Award paid directly to the University towards your tuition fees in your first semester. Please note that you will only receive this award for the first year of your studies. Awardees will be liable for full fees in the subsequent years of their study.

This amount cannot go towards the £5,500 deposit payment required to secure your CAS (student visa).
