NATO Internship 2026 in Belgium (Fully Funded)

Applications are open for the NATO Internship 2026. This is a fully funded internship opportunity for international students. NATO offers a six-month, fully funded internship for students in their third year of a university degree or recent graduates from Bachelor’s or Master’s programs. Interns will receive a monthly stipend to cover living expenses, 15 days of paid leave, and travel support. The internship will be based at NATO Headquarters in Brussels, Belgium. Shortlisted applicants will be notified in May, and the final selection will occur in July or September. Successful candidates will be invited to start their internships in either March or September of the following year. Internship Fields

Internships are available in political affairs, defense and security, innovation, operations, communications, business support and human resources, finance, science and technology, and infrastructure and facilities. Interns from all other backgrounds can also apply.


Eligibility Criteria for NATO Internship 2026 in Belgium (Fully Funded)

To apply for the NATO Internship, you must fulfill the requirements set by NATO.

  1. Age: 21+
  2. A citizen of a NATO member country
  3. Completed at least two years of university studies OR recent graduate (within one year) OR currently in a Master’s/PhD program.
  4. Proficiency in English or French.

Required Documents

  1. Highest degree certificate (if a graduate).
  2. Proof of enrollment (if ongoing studies).

The Program Covers:

  1. Monthly Stipend: EUR 1,286
  2. Up to EUR 1,200 Travel Support.
  3. 15 days paid leave (six-month internship)
