Royal Holloway GREAT Scholarships Ghana 2025

One GREAT scholarship is available for a new full-time postgraduate student from Ghana studying any taught Master's subject.

The scholarship is offered in partnership with the British Council and the GREAT Britain Campaign.

The GREAT Scholarships 2025 programme, launched by the British Council together with 71 UK universities, supports postgraduate students from Bangladesh, China, Egypt, France, Ghana, Greece, Kenya, India, Indonesia, Italy, Malaysia, Mexico, Nigeria, Pakistan, Spain, Thailand, Turkey, and Vietnam in accessing world-class UK higher education opportunities.

The scholarship programme offers a tuition fee reduction of a minimum of £10,000 to students pursuing one-year postgraduate study in the UK. Students can apply for courses in a range of subjects at 71 institutions across England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland.

Eligibility Criteria for Royal Holloway GREAT Scholarships Ghana 2025

1. A passport holder and a resident of Ghana
2. Hold an offer to study any full-time Master's subject at Royal Holloway from September 2025
3. Have completed an undergraduate degree and are motivated and interested in your proposed subject area
4. Meet the English language requirement of Royal Holloway.
5. Establish an engagement with the UK as a scholar through personal and academic fulfillment.
6. Willing to attend a networking event of all UK-based GREAT scholars to discuss experiences and capture perceptions of studying in the UK.
7. Willing to maintain contact with the British Council and their HEI and act as an ambassador for the GREAT Scholarships by sharing experiences of studying in the UK with future GREAT scholars.
8. As an alumnus of the GREAT Scholarships, willing to speak occasionally to potential candidates about my experience of studying in the UK
